[feature request] new Events to have bulk-operation events

Hey Harshdeep, I’m not tagging you but I know you will find this :wink:

We’d like to request the ability to use the new Event system to receive bulk operation notifications. Notably when a bulk operation finishes.

Right now we have to emit an extra graphql query to collect the bulk operation url, which is rather slow (up to 500ms from our logs).

Having it in the new system will help to make this faster.

PS: we migrated the webhook collections/update to the new Event system, to detect collection’s title and image change, and it’s a game changer. We’ve been able to drastically reduce the number of collections/update notification :slight_smile:

From what I remember reading, the goal is to have parity with classic webhooks, but will just take some time to get all topics covered.

We’re constantly working on new topics and triggers, and will share more on BulkOperation as a topic when we have something to share^
