[FEATURE REQUEST] - Store Search Improvements

Hiya,

Since the migration to the dev dashboard finding stores is actually painful and takes extra steps..

Why?

  1. The search requires a click to expand, it’s no longer just exposed - poor UX.
  2. The search only covers the tab you’re on dev / Client Transfer / Collaboration - meaning that if you didn’t click on i.e. Client Transfer first, then you’ve got to go back and do it again.
  3. When you do eventually login, you’re then met with the 2FA each and every time.

Logging into a store has just become a tedious and painful process, I’ve simply stopped using the Dev Dashboard and started remember the site URLs..

Hi @ceri_waters - thanks for sharing. We have a lot of improvements to the Stores page in the Dev Dashboard coming in the next few weeks that will address your feedback.

For your third point, I recommend adding a Passkey on your account as a very quick way to reauthenticate.

I just want to echo this. Search should be exposed all the time, and search everything. Dev | Transfer etc should be optional filters on the list below.

The developer dashboard is painful to use compared to the previous version which remained on the partner account portal. I’m curious why it was replaced with this, as the current version seems to do the same things but is a lot less usable. :smiling_face_with_tear:
