Feature request: Universal Search Bar

In the Partner portal, there was a Universal search bar that allowed us to search apps, stores (even if we didn’t have collaborator access), so we could then request access. It also searched by public facing brand name e.g. Atari which you can’t do anymore.

Now search bar for apps vs. dev stores vs. merchant stores is separate in the dev dashboard.

We also can’t search for customers who have installed us but have not yet been requested for collab access. For that, we have to click on a separate button called “Request access”. We then have to find their “.myshopify” domain since we can’t search by their public brand name which you could have done in Partner example. In partner portal, you can search for “felix norton “ and in dev dashboard, you have to request access based on their .myshopify domain

It would be great to get the same universal search bar back.

The dev platform is costing more time to navigate, a universal search bar / command palette would be great.

The new dev platform honestly feels vibe coded at this point. It feels like the team working on it has never actually used the existing partner dashboard or understood the features and functionalities it already had.

the team keep removing features from the partner dashboard without having proper replacement features ready in the new dev platform.
