We noticed a regression with the new dev dashboard. The collaborator access request flow is broken for organizations with an app installed on a merchant’s store.
Your docs state this should work without a collaborator request code: Collaborations
Also, I’d like to share two additional bits of feedback:
It looks like an email is no longer sent when the collaborator access is accepted. In my experience, merchants often do not reply to confirm they accepted the request so this email was very useful and streamlined the process.
When there is no store found in the dev dashboard collaborations search, it would be very helpful to have a simple way to request access for this store:
Currently, you have to click Request store access and then type in the myshopify domain again. Perhaps you could prefill the domain when clicking the button from this page, or add a link to request store access from the “No stores found” results section:
It’s still not working. I’m facing this issue because the https://partners.shopify.com/ Dashboard redirects to the dev.shopify.com Dashboard. The problem is in the dev.shopify.com dashboard when I add the store URL, there is no option to enter the collaborator request code, and the “Request Access” button always remains disabled.
my problem is that you can see the request button in stores, but you see 0 information about the store beforehand, such as plan, if the app is still installed, email, phone, etc..
