Hi Shopify Devs - We wanted to remind you that the deadline to migrate to the new GraphQL product APIs is Feb 1, 2025, and also share an important update.
In early February, merchants on a Shopify Plus plan will be able to opt-in to early access to 2048 variants. Any early access merchant using your app will have a downgraded or broken experience when interacting with products over 100 variants if you haven’t migrated, and will be notified accordingly.
Important update: If you do not complete your migration to the new GraphQL product APIs by April 1, 2025 your app will be temporarily demoted in the Shopify App Store. This means that your app’s ranking will temporarily drop in the Shopify App Store search and browse results.
Once you’ve migrated to the new GraphQL product APIs and have tested that your app is compatible with 2048 variants, you can add “2048 Variants” as an integration within your app store listing content. This will be visible to merchants under the “Works with” section on your app listing in the Shopify App Store.
