I have a client that wants to have a self-checkout kiosk. I know that right now Shopify POS doesn’t support that.
However, I am an app developer and am willing to build a custom app for them. I have built a headless site that direct customers to checkout using the Storefront API.
I’m wondering if there is a way to do something similar, but allowing for checkout using the POS or a card reader?
If this isn’t possible, is it possible to make a POS embedded app that you need a code to exit from?
Neither of these options need to meet requirements to sell on the app store, as they would be just for one client.
