Hi Shopify review team,
We have received a app review feedback that reported a “core“ issue with our app, the review status is now “Pause“. And the feedback saying that before the core issue is fixed, we can’t talk to a review specialist.
But the problems, the screencast in review feedback showing that the reviewer’s browser failed to load the official Facebook Connect SDK.
Our app uses the official Facebook Connect SDK, we have tried many ways, and the Facebook Connect SDK can always be loaded, including:
- Using different brand of browsers
- Guest mode & Incognito mode
- Connecting to a VPN
- Cleaning all cache and history
- Use different computers
- Use different networks (WIFI, 5G, 4G)
We have tried all the above things, the Facebook Connect SDK can always be loaded.
It is not usual when the app review specialist’s browser could not load the SDK. It should not be considered an “issue“.
We spent huge time to develop this app. There are a lot of apps out there depends on Facebook connect, so our app. Whatever Meta platform accounts, Facebook accounts, Instagram accounts, WhatsApp accounts, Threads accounts, if you want to connect these accounts to an app, you have to go through Facebook connect.
Is anyone able to connect with the app review specialist and may suggest them to check why the Facebook Connect SDK is blocked in their browser? Or just simply send me collaboration request to let me access their testing shop to connect our WhatsApp account for them?
