Hosted Payment Page integration into Shopify checkout process

Hi there. I want to create an integration for a Hosted Payment Page (HPP) for a local bank. I don’t wish it to be generally available at this time, I just need to apply it specific stores directly when required.

It seems like i need to use " Build an offsite payments extension with Shopify CLI" Build an offsite payments extension with Shopify CLI

When I follow the instructions and I get to this part

When prompted for “Type of extension”, select “Payments App Extension > Offsite” and name your extension

There is no such option. I am on the latest version of Shopify cli (3.75.0)

All i wish to do is at the checkout redirect to a financial institutions HPP and redirect back with success or failure and let Shopify pick back up and carry on.

Is this possible?

I see this note on the top

Our payments platform is available by invitation only while we continue to build out our Payments Apps API. Shopify will open the payments platform to new applications in the future.

How do I go about getting an invite?

Hi Aaree,

If you have a Shopify Partner manager you can contact them to request access, otherwise you will need to wait until this is openly available to all devs.

Thank you, understood. Is there a roadmap that gives an estimated time of arrival to general availability for all devs? I looked around on the site and googled around but did not see anything.
