How to change the email template to stop the price round-up?

Hi,

I’ve received an order from a customer for a reoccurring subscription which is fulfilled by “Loop”. The order confirmation email was sent by Shopify and rounded their total from $63.65 (which is what they were charged) to $64 which caused the customer to concern that they were overcharged.

I’ve asked Shopify support how to resolve this and they advised that we’d need to update the email template code and they recommended posting here as they couldn’t provide the code.

Can someone please assist?

Dean

Hi Dean,

You’ll find the email templates here: https://admin.shopify.com/store/netlingeri/settings/notifications/customer

Click the relevant one and go to “Edit code”.

Thanks so much Curzey. The support team advised against making changes to the code on my end without a development team members support. Is there any chance you could advise which part of the code I should change?

No worries. For reference this is a .dev community for developer-to-developer experiences.

That being said I’d agree with the support team and advise against it - unless you’re a bit tech savvy and can use ChatGPT or similar.

I think it fits better here: https://community.shopify.com/c/technical-q-a/bd-p/technical-qa. I’d suggest going to “Edit code” (as shown) and pasting the code into a pastebin to share that with the question.
