I’m looking for advice regarding a Shopify App Store review.

In the Partner Dashboard, my submission has been stuck on the status “We’re assigning a reviewer to your submission” with absolutely no progress for about two weeks. In the past, my other apps usually moved forward within around 10 days, so this time is clearly slower and it looks like the review is stuck.

I contacted Support last week and was told they would check it on Monday, but there has still been no movement since then.

Has anyone experienced the same situation?

The reviewing team are most likely dealing with a high level of submissions currently, so delays are to be expected.

It says it usually takes around 10 days, but roughly how long is it taking these days?
Also, one of my apps hasn’t even been assigned a reviewer yet, even after two weeks.

You’re asking how long is a piece of string question. Please just have some patience.

Having just come out of the process myself, it is taking about 10 days for an initial look (10 BUSINESS days), then they’re on a cycle of every 2-3 (business) days of reviewing things they want reviewed.

Also, there’s NO back and forth email contact during the review until they reach out to you. You can send 80 million emails between review points, but they won’t respond until you’re next in the queue.
