Hello!
I´ve read a bit of conflicting information online. Can I use Shopify Partners to create my own web (first time doing it, so I would like to test the waters and see if it has what I need) and then just transfer it to myself? Since there is a trial period on the Admins account, I don´t know if this is against the rules.
I´m also a Developer so I also like the idea of having a bit more control, a development environment and maybe in the future developing apps.

Hi Don,
It’s not permitted to transfer a dev store to yourself - as then you could earn referral revenue from your own stores. You can still use developer tooling such as the CLI on regular stores, as well as being able to create custom apps - so you’ll still have the ability to have your own development environment and expand the store with apps. You can of course continue to use development stores as a sandbox environment - and transfer things like theme customisations from your sandbox to the live store.
