Modifying information such as name and icon in the manifest.json file of the Mini app of the test environment is not effective. Is this because such changes are not working in the actual app?
you need to stop dev server and launch it again for any changes in manifest file.
These changes are visible once you submit your app and it’s running in the Shop app for real - the development mode is slightly different and doesn’t show all the details. I agree that it’s confusing though so I raised a ticket to see if we can improve this (internal ticket id #88167)
