I’m having an issue with my app’s web pixel where it loads fine when visiting a site in a private browser but it doesn’t load when visiting the website from a browser that I visited the website with before installing the pixel. Essentially, if I’ve visited the website before, pixel doesn’t run.
I think it’s because the browser doesn’t know that anything has changed with the pixel so it just pulls from cached data, I could be wrong on this though. Is there a way to tell the browser that there’s a new pixel?
I’m not sure if a script tag is the way to go, it seems like it would work. But I would rather figure out why this is happening so I can fix it that way.
