We’re a popup creation app that helps Shopify merchants display custom popups on their storefronts.
Some of our Shopify Plus clients have asked if it’s possible to display a popup on the post-purchase “Thank You” page. From what I understand, customization options on this page seem limited to native content blocks.
Could you confirm whether Plus stores have any flexibility—either through checkout extensibility or other means—to inject or trigger a custom popup on the Thank You page?

You can implement a modal or popup-like experience using the UI components provided by the Checkout UI Extensions API (such as overlays, banners, or custom modals built with the available primitives). But you can’t inject your own custom JS / code - you’ll need to work with the components that are available.
To add to Liam’s answer, programmatically-triggered popups are not supported in Checkout or post-purchase pages.
However, we’ll be releasing an alternative to popups to catch the user’s attention on post-purchase pages without hiding the content of the page itself. This should be released in the next few weeks.
