Sometimes I see this behaviour:
Inside the app, there is no way to cancel subscription
How is it possible? Subscription ID is 27874394391
As a merchant, you might be able to manage your app’s subscription in Shopify’s dashboard. Maybe it’s a very hidden or less known view?
I have store on Shopify’s Basic plan, but I only see subscription status and “Uninstall” button
Right, I’m trying to say the placement of this unsubscribe action might not be so obvious.
I assume you want to block unsubscribed merchants from seeing/doing some actions that need to be paid?
Well, I can subscribe to APP_SUBSCRIPTIONS_UPDATE webhook for this case 
I’m more curious why these cases are only with old subscriptions (this one was started on November 27, 2022)? Should I worry about potential issues with current active subscriptions in the future?

I’ve looked into this a bit with the subscription id provided, and I believe your app is now using Shopify Managed Pricing for app billing, instead of the previously used Billing API (which the cancelled plan was created with as well)
With the new Managed App Pricing, merchants are able to directly access the plan page via https://admin.shopify.com/store/:store_handle/charges/:app_handle/pricing_plans and it’s possible there’s an option to cancel the subscription there directly.
I did try to replicate this on my own test store, installing the app and selecting a charge, however I haven’t seen any ways to actually cancel the subscription without uninstalling it, though it’s possible this is due to my subscription with the app being a test charge, or due to it being a Managed App Pricing subscription, rather than the old Billing API subscription.
We can definitely help look into this further, though we will need you to reach out to the Shopify Support Team via the Shopify Help Center, while logged into the Partner Account, or a Staff Account on the merchant’s shop, in order to fully authenticate us to look into the behaviour on the specific store this occurred on in further detail.

Ok, that does make sense why I wasn’t able to access the Managed Pricing plan selection page on my test store.
I was reviewing the App Store Listing internally and saw the manual plans you submitted and confused those for Managed Pricing plans, I apologize for the mixup and do see now that they are manual Billing API plans.
Regardless I still wasn’t able to find any specific reason for the subscription cancellation, and contacting Shopify Support directly to authenticate us on the store in question will be the best path forward to ensure we can help look into this in full detail!
