Urgent: Customized receipts no longer auto print in v9.26.2

Hi, I know this is not a POS UI Extensions issue. However it seems that in Shopify POS v9.26.2, any stores that have switched to the Code Editor version of receipts, no longer can auto print receipts (or even print receipts at all). After placing an order, the “Printing 1 receipt…” just stays greyed out (see below screenshot):

Steps to reproduce:

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Sales Channels > Point of Sale > Settings, then choose Receipt Customization.
  2. Next, in the top left corner, click the three dots, and choose Edit Code.
  3. Without making any code changes, open your Shopify POS app, go to More > Connectivity > Data Syncronization > Refresh All.
  4. Place an order, and you will see that the receipt will not print.

To fix, switch back to the Visual Editor in the receipts section, and Refresh data syncronization, and everything works again.

Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, I did get in touch with direct support about this. It’s still an ongoing issue, but I can delete this post if you would like me to, as I think it’s probably not overly relevent here.
