App submission rejected: Your app must not require a desktop app to function

We are building a Shopify app that can import sales data to a popular accounting software called Tally / Tally Prime.

Tally is a windows only desktop app without any web ui. We have had many requests from people to do this. We already run an invoice / accounting app called GST Pro on Shopify app store.

Our app got rejected for the reason “Your app must not require a desktop app to function.” and I tried to reason that tally import is the primary feature and got suspended. I did not build tally nor do I like that its desktop only.
