Hi everyone,
I’m currently going through a nightmare with my app review process. The app has been under review for a staggering 4 months now. Recently, due to a bug that we managed to fix within just a few hours, our publication has been suspended until July 23rd.
The specific error flagged by the reviewer was: “Use Shopify Price Management or Shopify Billing API”. Essentially, when the reviewer tried to upgrade a plan within the app, it threw an error. We identified the issue and fixed it immediately.
Waiting almost another month for this is going to be devastating for us. Does anyone know if there is a way to expedite this, submit an escalation, or get in direct contact with the review team for a quick resolution?
Thank you all for your support, and I really hope to get this sorted out soon.
Good morning, can I please get some support? Thank you.
Hey @Francesco994, in our other thread I suggested reaching out to our support team to look in to those specifics? Have you been able to do that? That will be the best path for support regarding your specific review.
Generally though, with app suspensions, even for easy fixes, your app is expected to be bug free at the time of submission and repeated failures are what lead to the suspension. The length of the suspensions is determined by the number of prior failures, not the complexity of the fix.
I would recommend to use this time to do intensive QA and debugging through your entire codebase, different stores, browsers, settings, etc so the next review does not run in to simple bugs. You can also use this time to do some marketing so you can have more installations once your app is approved.
