We send collaborator access requests to customers and pre-select the permissions we want. Customers, rather than clicking "Accept Request, get confused on the Collaborator Approval page and end up “Assigning a role” to us because that’s the CTA under the request. This role usually doesn’t have the permissions we need and they do it because they think they HAVE to assign a role.
The end result is that i have to resend the request with more specific instructions and we waste some time with the back and forth.
Would love for the design team to consider if there is a way to give brands the option to assign a role without making it look like a mandatory requirement
