Hey Shopify Team,
We have come across an issue where the address is being auto-filled which is creating confusion for customers and Clients and may be misleading for many customers.
When a new customer signs up for an account and visits the My account page to edit the address the State/Province is already selected which should not be there, it should ask the customer to select from the drop-down of province instead of automatically assigning a default province.
There are many cases where customers do not update their address and Shopify keeps on assigning the default address to them.
Can you please provide us a fix for this like other e-commerce stores?
