New Shopify Theme Editor?

Reproduction steps

I just entered the Shopify Theme editor and i noticed that the toolbar on the left with the “sections”, “theme settings” and “app embeds” have all moved to the top bar. And instead of the three dots ⋯, those have been replaced with a dropdown next to the Home Page ⌄ . The “mobile”, “desktop” and “fullscreen” preview options have also just turned into a single “mobile” toggle.

I’m making a recreation of the Shopify Theme Editor in my app and I would like to know if this editor will roll out as the new standard editor for all devices? I have so far just been able to see this new editor on MacOS Brave browser, but not on Windows 11 Brave browser.

Big improvement. I like how easy it is to toggle the left/right contol panels, and the simplified top bar. Only took a minute or two to work out the changes and adjust. Unfortunately, only available on one of my partner stores currently.

Personally I am not a fan of the sections being on top of each other. Its too scrunched up and difficult to navigate.

This functions in not working properly, taking too much time on small screens

I personally used “Fullscreen” mode quite often when I need to open dev console for Theme Editor

Thanks for clarification @Liam-Shopify, I like the new update a lot. Are you trying any other theme editor designs apart from this one? I’m curious since I’m planning on launching my app with an identical editor as the Shopify theme editor looks.
