Warning: Phishing emails impersonating Ignite theme support
Reproduction steps
We’ve received multiple reports from merchants using the Ignite Shopify theme who have been contacted by someone falsely claiming to represent the Ignite support team.
The email offers to review the merchant’s theme setup, templates, app integrations and custom code. It then asks the merchant to reply so that a store review can be arranged.
These messages are not from us and have not been authorised by our company.
The reported sender address is either from support.benchmarktheme.ana@gmail.com or
Please do not reply to the email, click any links, share login details or provide collaborator access to your store.
We have reported this activity to Shopify. If you have received a similar message, please report it to Shopify and share the sender address and full email headers where possible.
Additional info
Stay vigilant, particularly if anyone asks for store access, login details, staff permissions or collaborator access while claiming to represent a theme developer.
