Hi!
We are seeing an API upgrade warning even though we have upgraded to the latest version, and the portal itself shows the last call to have been on 7th Dec.
It’s been over 2 weeks and the warning has not gone away. It is stressful because if this doesn’t go away in time then our merchants will see a warning about this while installing etc.
Please help!
Hi @PeppySrJ This is expected behavior - the warning takes up to 30 days to clear after your last deprecated API call.
From the API health documentation:
“After you update an app to remove all the deprecated calls, the app’s status stays as ‘Fix by (date)’ on the API health report for up to 30 days. The app’s status changes 30 days after the app last made a deprecated call.”
Since your last call was December 7th, the warning should automatically clear around January 6th (30 days from that date). You’re currently at about 16 days, so you’ve got roughly 2 weeks to go.
The good news is that merchants won’t see installation warnings as long as you’re not making deprecated calls after any upgrade deadline. The versioning docs clarify that warnings are only shown to users “if the app makes calls to unsupported resources after the upgrade deadline” - which doesn’t apply to you since you’ve already upgraded.
If you do see the Last detected date change to something more recent, let me know in your reply and we can check logs for deprecated calls, but as it stands you’re in the clear!
Thank you for the clarification!
