Shopify App Collaborator Access Issue

I am a Shopify app growth partner, I need access to my client’s Shopify app (install, uninstall, growth, listing page edits, Ads, etc). The client have given me full access.

Now I can see their app list.

But, when I am clicking on the specific app, so that I can view details, it is showing you don’t have access.

Kindly anyone can help me why this is happening?

Appreciate your valuable support!

Regards,
DM JAKARIA

Hey @Jakaria - thanks for reaching out.

This looks like it may be a permissions mismatch between store collaborator access and app/organization access.

Collaborator access lets you work with the merchant’s store based on the permissions they granted, but it doesn’t automatically grant access to manage the app itself in the Dev Dashboard or Partner organization. Dev Dashboard access is controlled by organization roles/permissions: User permissions

For the app details, your client would need to make sure your user has app-level access in the organization that owns the app, such as App developer / Build and manage apps access. For App Store listing or ads work, there are also separate Partner organization permissions like Manage app listing, View app ads, and Manage app ads: https://help.shopify.com/en/partners/manage-account/manage-users/roles/permissions

So I’d ask the client to confirm whether they added you only as a store collaborator, or whether they also assigned you the relevant organization/app permissions for the app itself.

I hope this helps! If this doesn’t solve it, let me know and I can help out further.

Thank you Alan for your response!
Everything was correct. I have recently got assisted from the Shopify support team, and they has confirmed that this Shopify issue from their dev side.

Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.

Thanks,
Jakaria
