There is currently a high number of submissions so delays are to be expected:

There is nothing you can do to get approved quicker, please be patient.
FYI: It has also been mentioned by the Shopify team that its around ~30 days currently, not 2 weeks.

Still the status is “We’re assigning a reviewer to your submission”.
We are waiting for months already now.
We need the app to go live, because otherwise we can not add new customers to our app (since Shopify deprecated the custom app way of connecting to the api).
Everything is correct and tested.
