Shopify Partner Support

Where do we get this now? We have no Partner Manager like we used to, and Shopify Support accessed via the Partner dash has told me multiple times “Theme partners has no direct request for contact. It is a limitation for us on general support since we are only trained for admin support not with…”.

Good question, I investigated myself.

The link to the former support options now links to the help.shopify.com portal for merchants.

If you have technical questions about themes, you can still reach out through help.shopify.com. You’ll be routed to someone trained to support theme-related technical questions, or to someone who can connect with the right internal team on your behalf.

One thing about the chat tool on help.shopify.com… I noticed mine didn’t show up so I used a different browser and then there it was! But then… it disappeared again after logging out of that browser. I have had to use incognito mode to get the chat button to show up there.

Hopefully that helps if anybody can’t find it when you go to help.shopify.com.

There were a lot of discussion about people were fired from Shopify partner support program recently. Looks that we will be more on our own now.

Thanks for the reply @Paige-Shopify , but https://help.shopify.com/ provides no help at a Partner level. I have had multiple conversations about a variety of Partner and Theme Store relates issues, and they do not understand them. I spend half the time explaining how they work. This is not ‘support’.

If you follow that link @Dylan is pointing too, then it takes you to a page with a “Chat with a human” button on the bottom right. Looks like they’ve unified Partner and Merchant support under one system now.

Nice, good to know! I wouldn’t have connected those dots.

Unfortunately, they do not know how to support Partners, and have admitted so
