Store Credit Webhooks

Similar to this request, it’d be great to get some webhooks for Store Credit updates.

  • Store Credit Credited
  • Store Credit Debited
  • Store Credit Expired

Within those, it’s be good to know the context too - i.e the customer it’s attached to, the order it’s attached to if part of a refund etc.

Use Case:

Knowing when store credit is updated on a customer record would enable us to do several things with middleware, such as triggering emails to let the customer know their active balance, store credit changes, storing the balance in a customer metafield so it can be accessed easy within themes / liquid etc.

Hey @Liam-Shopify any updates on this one?
We would love to have this webhook event that would allows us to integrate our own Prepaid service with Shopify.

Checking in on this as well as all the workarounds we have in place still aren’t good enough and falls apart when admin disburses credit manually.

There was talk about it on the Slack channel before it got discontinued, so hoping to hear back here :slight_smile:
