There is a long-standing bug or UI oversight with theme reviews: merchants believe they’ve submitted a review, but it is never posted if they forget to select a sentiment (Positive, Neutral, or Negative).

Go to a theme page and click “Write a review.”
Enter review text only (do not select Positive, Neutral, or Negative).
Click “Save.”
Observe that the modal closes without warning or error, but the review is not submitted.

Merchants often assume their review has been posted and move on, when in reality it has not.
This explains why, for years, we’ve had merchants say they left a review, but nothing appeared.
Reviews are already difficult to earn, and losing them due to a UI oversight is very discouraging.
In app reviews, the submit button is greyed out until a star rating is selected, which prevents this problem.
Suggested solution: replicate the same behavior for theme reviews — disable the save button until a sentiment is chosen, or at minimum, provide a clear error prompt.
