App / tile loading issue

Hi POS team,

We’ve been receiving reports from merchants that when signing in to Shopify POS, app tiles are not loading. However, force closing and re-opening the Shopify POS app seems to resolve the issue. We have tested this and have been able to replicate the issue. We have included a screenshot and screen recording below:

Shopify POS app version: 11.1.1

Screen recording (our app is in the top left corner) - you’ll notice that on first sign in, the app / tile does not load (is greyed out / disabled, with a “loading” text). But upon force closing the Shopify POS app and reopening, it loads straight away:

We have also checked this with other POS apps, and the issue seems to be widespread.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for reporting this. We’re aware of the issue, and it will be resolved in the upcoming POS 11.2 release.
