Short description of issue

Error When Updating Theme – “Validation Failed: Invalid preset”Hi Shopify Support Team, I recently tried updating my theme Horizon - NR 01 to the latest version, but I received an error when attempting to copy the customizations to the new updated theme. The error message I’m getting is:Validation failed: Invalid preset “t:names.details”: invalid block type “price”: undefined setting ‘product’., Invalid preset “t:names.details”: invalid block type “variant-picker”: undefined setting ‘product’.,

Reproduction steps

I opened my Shopify Admin.
Went to Online Store → Themes.
Clicked Update on my current theme (Horizon - NR 01).
Selected the option to copy existing customizations to the new version.
The process failed, and the following error appeared:
Validation failed: Invalid preset “t:names.details” …

Additional info

Current Theme: Horizon - NR 01 (before update)

Trying to update to: Latest version of Horizon theme

Customizations: Some product page modifications (price, variant picker, add-to-cart button, etc.)

Error occurs during: Copying customizations to the updated theme

Store type: Live store

Admin access: Yes, I have full access to theme files and editor.

Tried solutions: Re-attempted update, cleared browser cache, and retried — same error persists.

Do you have a local version of this theme? Is it displaying as expected in your dev environment using the Shopify CLI?
