Issue Getting access to client store using collaborator code

A client today approved my login request to access their store but it still shows as pending in my partner dashboard and I can’t access the site.

I feel like this might be an issue due to a recent change with users & roles Shopify introduced.

Yup, seeing the same issue as well as it not showing installs/uninstall events or email in the merchant’s detail screen. I’ve opened a ticket with shopify support just now.

Experiencing the same issue as we are unable to onboard users as the requests continue to show as pending.

Yup tried today as well followed all the steps support gave client and still the same problem.

Nope, with the new limits client cant even add me as a staff and we have an urgent task which needs to be done

Waiting for an hour now…

We previously had access, but two days ago Shopify updated the roles-system so we had only access to metafields and not anymore to the products, collections, apps, theme etc.
We tried to fix that with our client, but it was not possible. So we decided to reconnect to the store from the partners dashboard. And that resulted in this problem.

The Shopify support told us they’re aware of the waiting-issue and that it can take up to two hours. This is not good.

Atleast Shopify told you they are aware of the issue to my client they just said try to send request to access store again or use incognito mode.

@Liam-Shopify would like to have your eyes on this

Funny, yesterday when i reached out to support to help with issue they asked me to ask my client to reach out to support, and now my client spoke to support and support told him to ask the dev to reach to support, jeez

Finally got access, both you and client need to be on support and the support will manually approve your access, atleast that happened in my case now.

Hey folks - we’re seeing an issue with the partner dashboard starting late yesterday, which impacts collaborator accounts. Our devs are working to fix this - I’ll update when I hear more.

Update: actually it looks like we may have shipped a fix just now - can you test to see if requests are coming through as expected?

We are still facing the issue.The requests are pending on partner dashboard even though user had approved it.

Can cofirm it is still not working, my partner account shows active under roles in client store but still pending on my end.

Having the same issue here currently – the client shared a screenshot of their admin showing that the collaborator request was approved, but our partner dashboard still shows “Pending”.

Can confirm the exact same thing. We sent a fresh access request today, after the update/fix from Shopify, but it still doesn’t work.

Looks like its starting to work, tested with another client and the collab access email came through and I had the access to code

Do you have access to the other that had approved before? I want to send another request but afraid to bother the merchant once again.

Just a question here, how do you open a ticket with Shopify Support? Because the chat bot is useless and I can’t seem to get in touch with someone.
