I have noticed that recently (in the last month), reviews that merchants write for apps in Shopify App Store seem to not be published at all or they get published with a huge delay, like 1 month or so.
For example, one of our apps used to get a few reviews every day, but all of a sudden, not even one review came in for a week. I know it could be just seasonality, but I have heard from merchants who were happy with our app and our support that they wrote a review, yet the review never got published, we never even got an email notification about the review.
And this was from merchants in good standing, who are running proper shop on Shopify store for years.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I kind of suspect that there was some change in the Shopify App Store review approval process, which is keeping a lot of legitimate reviews from being published.
