Solved.
The issue was that my Shopify account did not have 2FA set up.
This error really needs to be flagged it would have saved a day and a half of work if there was a simple error message.
Shopify support said there was no way to tell without the tech team looking at the logs.
It is also concerning that I was able to access 2FA required stores for 3 days without having 2FA.
Perhaps implement something similar to Github, where the repo has a 2FA label so you know you need 2FA set up to access the repo, in the Partners store list.
Since yesterday at around 1:45pm EST, I have been unable to log into any Shopify store admins. The page goes to the Shopify admin url but then hangs until a 500 error displays.
I am now over 24 hours without the ability to access the Shopify admin impacting my ability to work. I have been in contact with Shopify Support but no solution has been found yet.
I have tried the following fixes:
- Clearing cache and cookie data; this seems to be the usual fix
- The organization owner removed and re-added me but that has not worked.
- We confirmed that I have access to all stores within the organization.
- I have logged in and out of the Shopify account.
- I have logged in and out of the Shopify partners account
- I have restarted my computer
- I have restarted my internet connection
- I have tried to open an incognito window and logging into the store that way
- I have tried different browsers
Does anyone have any other ideas on how to resolve this issue?
