Collaborator request declined by merchant. Need guidance

Reproduction steps

Hi everyone,
I’m facing an issue while trying to add a store via collaborator access.

I sent a collaborator request through my Shopify Partner account, but I’m seeing the following error:

➤ Your collaborator request was declined by the merchant.

I want to clarify that the merchant is aware of my work and is willing to give access. This decline seems to have happened by mistake.

➤ What is the correct way for the merchant to re approve or resend collaborator access?
➤ Should the merchant send a new collaborator invite from their admin, or should I resend the request from my Partner dashboard?
➤ Is there any limitation or cooldown period after a collaborator request is declined?

I only need access for theme customization, app setup, and campaign related work. I do not need access to orders, customers, or billing.

Any guidance from the community or Shopify support would be appreciated. Thank you.

Don’t think you can do much here, you’ll need to contact Partner Support so they can auth your account and sort it.
