I submitted the channel registration form twice — once on 07/09/2025 and again on 08/20/2025 — but I still haven’t received any follow-up or approval notification.
Because of this, my app isn’t receiving order attribution. As a result, the orders/updated and orders/paid webhooks are not being triggered, and this is critical for my app’s functionality. It seems tied to the read_only_own_orders scope being applied to my approved sales channel app.
Can someone from the Shopify team look into this or advise on how to expedite the approval? This issue is blocking our production integration.

I’m experiencing the exact same issue and have been dealing with it for 6 months now. I’ve submitted the form multiple times (4 times) and still haven’t received any response. Nobody seems to be addressing this.
Here’s what Shopify Support told me when I reached out:
Upon investigating here on the backend of our system, I was able to verify your submission for Order Attribution Access. I see here that you have submitted 2 responses already — one on 7/9/2025 at 10:59:02 and another on 8/20/2025 at 8:18:48.
This means that your request for order attribution access is properly lined up and in queue already. Normally this takes some time for our team to review since they receive a lot of requests from partners.
But since you have me here I will be making sure to put an internal note here to help expedite the process. … I see also a lot of requests lined up, but I will inform them about your request to help expedite the process.
What’s odd is that they specifically mentioned “a lot of requests lined up” — but it’s been weeks with no updates, and in your case, months without any progress.
It feels like these requests are just stuck somewhere in the queue with no visibility or timeline for resolution. Hopefully someone from the Shopify team can clarify why this backlog exists and how we can actually get this moving.
It seems like @Liam-Shopify was able to help resolve the issue there and enable (or help expedite) order attribution for the app.
@Liam-Shopify, could you please look into my and @Jan_Ther’s cases? Both of us have been waiting for weeks (and in Jan’s case, months) without any updates, and our apps are still missing order attribution, which is blocking critical functionality.
I also reached out to my Shopify App Review Team, and here’s the response I got:
“Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately this is not within our scope of support. We recommend reaching out to these developer support forums Developer & API manual and API and Tech forum for further assistance.”
It feels like we’re being bounced around with no one actually owning this issue
Did you try reaching out to your App Review Team as well? If yes, what did they tell you?

I have contacted support again and so far it seems to be on track, it has been passed on to other positions, I am now waiting for a reply.
All requests were traced but they didn’t know how it wasn’t resolved
