I have created an Organization in shopify partner dashboard and then add few team members. But the issue is my team members are not able to see the dev stores that I have created. I even give one of my team member Owner access but still dev stores are not visible to him. Similarly if any of my team member creates a store it is not visible to others. We are on the same organization and everyone has access to all development store.
I came across this too. I spoke to SHopify and they didn’t have a clue what was going on so hit a dead end. THey said it’s always been like this, but it hasn’t. It’s been like this since the new dev platform came out. The only workaround I had was to add them as a staff member to the store staff permissions.
Thanks for the help but its not quite right. I have multiple stores and multiple staff members. I can’t do it over and over.
Previously it was really easy to handle permissions but Shopify make it worse now.
Yeah even we are struggling with the same issue. This is so frustrating. Why is Shopify not looking into this?
Hello all,
For now, individuals need to be granted access on the store itself. We do know that this is a change in behavior and not ideal. We are working on a solution for this, but do not have a timeline to share at this moment.

I am baffled that it has gone into production in the current state.
FYI we’ve shipped a fix for user permissions on plus dev stores:
@TerenceShopify Hi Terence, it’s appreciated, thanks. But why is the old functionality with dev store access from the partners panels removed? Are there no plans of that returning. It’s reaaaally troublesome having to remember to add X developers to each development store. It was so much better being able to give a team member access to ALL dev stores or a handful of stores from a centralised interface
Thanks,
Mickey
We have an improvement for that as well on the way, but it’s going to be a bit longer before it ships. We’re not going to have the exact system that partners dashboard had, instead it will operate the same way that merchants assign users to multiple shops using role based access control (RBAC). You’ll be able to assign a user to a role that includes access to multiple stores and therefore won’t need to do individual store assignment inside each store.
I know this is currently a bit of a pain and a regression from the older experience - we’re going to get back to a better solution soon. Appreciate your patience on this one while we finish building and shipping the better version.
